Florida Education Distribute Distance Learning Grants Valued Over $300,000

To continue the distance learning education for all Florida teachers and learners the Board the Education have awards over 300,000 dollars towards Distanced Learning. The grant was distributed to 44 public schools districts and non profit organizations. This was done to help and fix problems do to the COVID-19 pandemic. This will benefit families and students who did suffered this pandemic.
The Florida Department of Education made this generous donation with the help of many sponsors. Sponsors like Light Company, Oportun, Wells Fargo and CVS. The commissioner of education Richard Corcoran stated “Our focus is to keep Florida students healthy and safe while maintaining a sense of normalcy as we navigate COVID-19 together. Distance learning provides students that normalcy, and ensures student success is, and always will be, our first priority,”.
To receive this grant you have to be in Florida and match the grant fund. Several schools and originations were successful in receiving this grant such as
